Kevin Varga , originally from Moon Township, Pennsylvania, served as a Helicopter Computer Systems Specialist in the United States Marine Corps.
After the Marine Corps, he studied geology and geography at Colgate University, earning his B.A. in 2016. After graduation, Kevin was a wildland firefighter in Nevada and a conservation non-profit worker in Colorado.
Kevin is currently pursuing a PhD in Geography at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). Prior to starting at UCSB, Kevin successfully hiked the entire 2,190.9 miles of the Appalachian Trail. He enjoys any outdoor adventure, gardening projects, and volunteering in the community.
