The CVTI Resource HUB and Community Space serves as a central point of connection for the Columbia community, bringing together student veterans, military-connected individuals, and the wide array of veteran-focused resources available both on campus and throughout New York City.
Each semester, 10 to 15 student veterans and military dependents are hired and trained as VA Ambassadors and CVTI Services Liaisons. These student staff members are dedicated to guiding students, faculty, and staff to the veteran-related services and support they need.
In the past year alone, CVTI Liaisons have welcomed more than 900 unique visitors into the community space and provided direct assistance in over 50 specialized cases involving veteran resource navigation both on and off campus.
