In this course, we've assembled an absolute all-star team of professionals and experts in their given fields. He's a war correspondent, New York Times bestselling author, and documentary filmmaker.

He produced the documentary Restrepo about an army platoon stationed in the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan. He has spent more time in a combat theater than most of us veterans. He will discuss his book Tribe-- On Homecoming and Belonging.

We have Lindsey Pollak, another New York Times bestselling author, an expert in career transition, relationships, and communication. She will discuss developing your personal brand, and how to use social media in your career search.

Dr. Sheena Iyengar is a professor at Columbia Business School and considered the world's expert in choice. She will discuss how to make better choices in your life and career transition. Professor Iyengar's life work has been informed by the fact that she has been blind since a very young age.

Simon Sinek is an organizational consultant, inspirational speaker, and author of five books, including Start with why, Find Your Way, and the newly published The Infinite Game. He will discuss finding and pursuing your passion in life.

He makes the argument that in order to be a good leader, you need solitude in order to be able to think for yourself. Otherwise, you're just a follower, and I'm Mike Abrams. I will be leading you through the course.

I spent eight years on active duty in the Marine Corps, went back to school after transitioning, spent several years in corporate America, then turned to supporting veterans in transition. First by founding Four Block and now here at Columbia University. So thank you for meeting the all-Star team, and we hope you enjoy the course.

In this video, you will meet our tribe of experts who have dedicated their time to deliver the very best content and guidance to you as you transition from active service to a new civilian career.
