JP Morgan Chase
JPMorgan Chase & Co.: Working with JPMorgan Chase & Co. - and specifically, with the team at Military & Veterans Affairs - over these past two years to help develop and offer new workshops as part of the Veteran Development Series has been an extraordinarily worthwhile endeavor. Through our partnership, we have built non-cognitive skill capacity for hundreds of veteran and military-connected employees across the firm. CVTI has facilitated sessions for JPMorgan Chase & Co. employees globally on topics ranging from reframing impostor feelings in the workplace to cultivating social-emotional intelligence competencies to translating the military skill set from service to civilian employment.
CVTI was also honored to serve as the keynote speaker for the Q1 Coalition Meeting of the Veteran Jobs Mission. The VJM began in 2011 as the 100,000 Jobs Mission, with 11 leading companies committed to hiring 100,000 veterans by 2020. Since then, the coalition has evolved to 315+ leading member companies that represent virtually every industry in the U.S. economy and has collectively hired over 900,000 veterans and military spouses. We enjoyed leading a discussion at the Q1 meeting about building veteran empowering culture in workplace settings by systematically dismantling prominent misconceptions about who veterans are and what they need as they transition out of military service and into civilian employment.
