The CU Veteran and Military-Connected Student Support Partnership is dedicated to ensuring that veteran and military-connected students, their families, and those who support them have the access and opportunity to thrive at Columbia University and beyond.
This mission is advanced by fostering connections among dedicated veteran-serving administrators, staff, faculty, and campus stakeholders—working together to enrich dialogue and build inclusive cultures of support.
The Partnership, comprising 26 veteran-facing administrators from 16 schools and departments across the university, meets regularly to:
- Address challenges affecting the veteran and military-connected student community
- Develop new strategies to support this diverse population
- Identify collaborative opportunities among faculty, staff, and students
- Coordinate capacity-building initiatives for veteran-serving administrators
- Serve as a resource for schools, departments, and individuals seeking guidance on veteran-related matters
- Advocate for consistent, inclusive messaging around veteran and military-connected students
