The sudden and unexpected switch to virtual learning has left many students feeling disoriented and overwhelmed as they attempt to complete their end-of-term academic work. Join R.J. Jenkins, Lead Instructor of University Studies for Student Veterans, and Stephen O'Connell, Assistant Dean of Students at Columbia University's School of General Studies, as they discuss practical, effective strategies for completing final exams, projects, and papers in a virtual context. Topics will include: communicating with faculty, time management, task prioritization, and strategies for self-motivation. Watch it live on YouTube Live: https://youtu.be/cZgMzljkZ_I

Pivot: A webinar series devoted to helping students succeed in the virtual classroom:
Let's face it. What it means to be a college student has changed drastically as a result of the global pandemic, and none of us are sure how long these changes will last. What we do know is this: the rules have changed, and they've changed quickly. This webinar series will focus on two things: helping students navigate the transition to online learning, and offering students strategies and best practices for succeeding in the virtual classroom.
